Children arriving after 9.00am will be marked late. Adults bringing children into school after this time will need to come to the office and sign the late register. A school representative will then take the child to their classroom.

Our School Uniform

Grey trousers/grey skirts with a white shirt/polo shirt are our preferred uniform. Our sweatshirt/cardigan/fleece is maroon with an embroidered school logo. During the warmer weather many children will change to grey shorts/red and white check or striped dress.

PE Kit

Children will need to bring in a pair of plimsoles, shorts and a t-shirt for PE activities.

They will also need to be provided an apron for art/craft activities.

Those items of uniform which incorporate our Park Wood logo are only obtainable via Simply Schoolwear. Their website is:
www.pmgschoolwear.co.uk

Our School Meals

All children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 are entitled to a Universal Free School Meal. Please see letter regarding UFSM which will give you more information under 'Letters'. Our school kitchen can provide either a two course hot meal or a packed lunch for our children. This comes with a drink of water or milk. Children can be provided with a packed lunch from home. Please do not include a drink, as these children will also be offered a drink of water or milk. It is important that all lunch boxes are clearly named. As a healthy school, we would like to ask those parents who provide their children with a packed lunch from home, to join us in encouraging the children to eat healthy foods.

Our School Visitors

All visitors must report to the office. Entry to school is by the main entrance only. Visitors will be asked to sign the visitors book and wear a visitors badge when remaining on site and sign out when leaving.

Nut Allergies

A reminder to all our parents and carers that we are a 'Nut Free School' as we do have children in school with nut allergies. Please do not bring in to school any food that contains nuts. Thank you for your co-operation and continued support.

Medical Needs

If your child is on any regular medication ie: inhaler for asthma, epipen etc please call into the School Office to complete a medication form. If necessary a Care Plan will be drawn up for your child.
