WE NEED YOUR HELP - new members are always welcome! We are a very friendly and helpful team. We need more members to help out in order to keep the events running throughout the academic year. See a PSA member, or Staff Representative, for details on how to join the team!
What We Do
The Parkwood Schools Association is a parent-run, charity funding organisation that raises money for the Park Wood Infant and Junior schools throughout the academic year. It relies on the willingness, drive and passion of its members to maintain an effective and efficient source of income. Most members have children who still go to the school and, therefore, have a joint commitment to provide fun activities and events that benefits the school community as well as raise funds that go back into the school at the same time. Most PSA members still have part or full time jobs that they are committed to, but do as much as they can to contribute to the PSA's priorities which raise funds for the school. At this time, many schools are facing financial strain as government funding is tightened. Park Wood, like many others, are becoming heavily reliant on contributions (both financial and time) to raise money to help the children continue to strive in this increasingly technologically-driven world! This is where the PSA are trying very hard to help.
